Thinking Beyond Content. Keeping It Fresh and Fun.

By Lloyd Silver

Creating content that attracts visitor’s attention is difficult to accomplish. With so many places to go to get information you have to differentiate yourself from everyone else. There is no doubt that this is hard to do, but by concentrating on quality over quantity you are sure to see results. It’s important to remember that each time you create content the purpose is to build a relationship between the visitor and your company. By creating content that is truly memorable you create an impression in that visitor that you have talent above the others. But how do you get this done?

The easiest thing that you can do to boost the quality of your content is by utilizing high-quality Images. Each time you post content you should have a high-quality image attached that pertains to the information within that content. Images ease the mind of the visitor and can help paint a picture of what you are describing in the text.

Another thing that you can do to boost the attention of the visitors is by changing up the type of content that you share. What do I mean by this? If you recently posted a checklist, change up your next post by creating and sharing an infographic or even a video. By doing so you prevent your subscribers or visitors from growing tired of your content.

After you create your content you need to share it where most people will be interested in viewing it. This means that if you do business as a flooring contractor you don’t necessarily reek a benefit of sharing your content on the business oriented social media site LinkedIn. But if you were to post it on Facebook or Pinterest you would see great interest.

Not only does where you share content matter but also in which ways you share it. By simply posting a URL link to the content itself you provide no background to the content or reason as to why that person should take time to view it. But if you were to share a sentence or two as to what the content is and how the viewer will benefit, they will feel more inclined to view it if they are interested.

Lastly, you should always include social sharing icons within the content itself. This will help your viewers share it with their friends who might also find the information useful.

Remember the goal of content marketing is to build a relationship with each visitor that you can build upon with every content offer. Creating attention grabbing content is not easy, but by following the guidelines above you can keep your visitors on their heels each time you post content.
