Writing and Managing a Business Blog Post – The Must Knows

By Lloyd Silver

Are you interested in blogging? Of course you are, or you wouldn’t have clicked on this blog post! In this post I will go over how to not only write a blog post, but the steps you should take after you write it.

Blogs have become essential for the 21st century website. There are tons of benefits to blogging; they give information to prospective and current customers, they give you an opportunity to get your website linked on the web, and it helps your website get ranked higher on search rankings.

Writing blogs to your potential and current customers is a great opportunity to try to provide them with information that helps them understand what your business offers. Blogs are great opportunities to try and sell a product or service that your company provides. You can write about anything and everything as long as it pertains to your business or the products or services that you provide because that is where your authority stands. There are many different types of posts you can do too. You can write an update or review, you can give advice, you can create a checklist, or even generate an infographic. When it comes to blogging the possibilities are endless.

By posting a blog you add pages to your website which is great for SEO and search ranking purposes. You can take these links and publish them to social media, thus making more links to your website. By creating more links to your website you are creating what are called “citations” in SEO; this helps make your site more visible. Along with citations most search engines rank your website based off of the amount of fresh content. This means the more you post to your website the more likely your website will be ranked higher on the search listings.

Managing a business blog can be troublesome sometimes and it can be hard to find time to write. That’s why it’s always a good idea to create a specialized calendar to help you keep track of what topics to cover and when to cover them. We created a calendar just for this purpose and you can download it for free below.

If a blog sounds like something you would like to create, but you don’t have the time to manage it that’s no problem. The team at Crush My Market has designed a blogging service where we create content to post to your blog on your behalf.
